FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to select countries via the post office. Just select your country from the country menu at checkout and proceed as normal. If your country is not listed, we're sorry but we don't ship there at this time. We also have a number of international stockists and dealers. Please see our Where to Buy - International page for a list of stores that may be able to serve you more locally. For distribution, see our distributors in Australia and Canada.
2. How long are your shipping times?
We try to ship your order as soon as possible after you place your order. Transit times are dependent upon carrier and shipping option chosen. Please see our Shipping Policy page for further details.
3. What's the difference between the Classic and the Sporty?
The Classic is our largest full cycling brim. It offers the most sun protection and is recommended for the more casual rider. The Sporty is 3/4" smaller in brim width all the way around and is recommended for faster riders, touring, and those who ride down hills or in windy conditions. The Sporty is an excellent compromise between sun protection and wind performance.
4. What's the difference between the Endurance and the Petite?
The Endurance and Petite fit the same size helmets (up to 32" in outer circumference where the Da Brim will sit). However, the Endurance is the largest of the equestrian brims and offers the most sun protection. The Petite is 3/4" smaller in brim width all the way around so it offers better wind performance and looks more proportional on one's body.
5. How do I know what length Rezzo bill to order?
Length largely comes down to personal preference. However, generally our 3 1/2" is most popular for most riders. 3" is usually preferred by road cyclists. The 4" is ordered by those seeking the most sun protection and glare reduction and is often preferred by recumbent riders. If you would like to discuss recommendations in further detail, please contact us.
6. Will the Da Brim work with a helmet mirror?
Yes! The large brims and Rezzo will work with select sunglass-mounted and helmet-mounted mirrors. Please see the "Take-A-Look" and "Tiger Eye" mirror pages for further details.
7. I am traveling. How do I pack my Da Brim in my luggage?
Full brim Da Brims (Cycling Classic/Sporty, Equestrian Endurance/Petite) can be rolled to about the size of a full paper towel roll. To avoid damaging the Da Brim, do not fold it in half. For packing in luggage, we recommend placing one end of of the Da Brim at the bottom of your suitcase, packing your clothing and other items, and then rolling the other end of the Da Brim over everything, so that it forms a "C" shape. Think of it like the cover of a book where your clothes are the pages and the Da Brim is the cover. For bicycle touring, some customers have had success lashing the Da Brim to the outside of their panniers.
For the Rezzo, we recommend detaching the bill from the attachment band and packing flat. To avoid damaging, it do not fold the bill.
